FROM QUEBEC TO USHUAIA BY BIKE TO SAVE A CHILD !
We are two French brothers, fond of sports and adventure. Together, we set ourselves a new goal : cross the entire American continent from Quebec to Ushuaia by bike, in order to collect € 36,000 to finance the heart operations of 3 sick children in partnership with Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque !

Who are we ?
Vincent recently graduated from Grenoble Graduate School of Business. Jérémy studied engineering at EI.CESI in Saint-Nazaire where he dedicated his time to studying and work. We are very close brothers passionate about conquering new challenges and sports. As a team, we are ready to experience an extraordinary adventure in order to discover the world, its cultures & change the lives of numerous children.

What is our challenge ?
Our goal is to link Quebec to Ushuaia by bicyle within 1 year, representing a total of 30,000 kms. We are tired of living in an individualist society and are eager to open ourselves and embrace other cultures and populations. We’re dedicating this challenge to a French charitable association called Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque.
We set ourselves an ambitious target: to collect € 24,000 for Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque! As we reached this goal, we decided to set a new goal : to raise 36,000 €. The money collected will finance the heart surgery of 3 sick children.
The first child was a 3-year-old Rwandan boy called Rihan. He suffered from Tetralogy of Fallot and desperately needs the surgery which would otherwise be unaffordable in his home country. He has been successfully operated in february 2017 and is now back to Rwanda.
The second child is Maite. She is 2 and a half years old and comes from Burkina Faso. She arrived in France at the beginning of May 2017 and got her surgery by mid May. After 3 weeks in the hospital to recover, she is staying 1 month with Michelle, her French host mother and will go back to Burkina Faso by the end of July. Congratulations Maite !! The third child will be determined when we will reach our goal of € 36,000.
About Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque...
Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque enables children with heart defects in need of surgery to receive treatment in France when they lack technical and financial means to be cured in their home countries. The average cost of an operation is €12,000, and thanks to donations from the public these children will get a new, fully functioning heart. Helping The Biking Bros’Heart is to help a child suffering from heart defect.
30,000 kms and 15 countries in 365 days !
We will need more than 4,200,000 pedal strokes to link the two ends of the American continent. We will cross 15 countries : Canada, USA, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chili and Argentina. During our journey we plan to visit children in hospitals and schools to raise awareness around heart defects and the treatments available.
